Fire Station Open Day & Burn Smart Program - Roleystone Karragullen Volunteer Bush Fire Brigade
Join us for a day of fire safety, fun, and community connection at the Roleystone Karragullen Volunteer Bush Fire Brigade Open Day, followed by a practical Burn Smart session!

Open Day - 10am to 2pm

Bring the whole family to explore emergency services, enjoy kids’ activities, and meet your local brigade. On the day:

Face painting & colouring competition

Brigade show bags for the kids

Fire truck displays 

Ranger’s advice on burn permits

Department of Fire and Emergency Services & City of Armadale Emergency Services displays

Burn Smart Demonstration -Starting at 1pm

Planning a hazard reduction burn on your property? This practical session is for you.

Learn how to safely plan, conduct, and monitor a small burn (up to 2 hectares) under the right conditions. Perfect for property owners, families, and anyone curious about fire safety.

Families are more than welcome to watch with children under direct supervision 

If you plan to burn, plan to Burn SMART!
