Celebrate Haitian Heritage Month with an exclusive screening of Madan Sara.
This documentary tells the stories of the indefatigable women who work at the margins to make Haiti’s economy run. Known as the Madan Sara, these women face intense hardship and social stigma.
Following the screening, enjoy a behind the scenes look with filmmakers Etant Dupain and Lulaine Childs, beaming to you live from New York and Washington D.C. They will be able to answer all your questions and provide further insight into the lives of these remarkable women.
