If you have lost your pet and their picture is not below, please contact Ranger Services on 9394 5000. Our team will take details and add the description of the lost pet to the City's lost animal register.

Reclaiming your pet

If your pet is in the Animal Management Facility please call Ranger Services on 9394 5000. 

Before an animal can be released from the Animal Management Facility:

• it must be registered

• it must be microchipped. Microchipping is currently conducted at a vet offsite, owners need to allow additional time after the pound release to follow the Ranger to the City's chosen vet clinic for implantation

• payment of applicable fees is required. Payment can be made via EFTPOS or cash at the City of Armadale Administration Office, 7 Orchard Avenue Armadale between the hours of 8.15am to 4.45pm Monday to Friday. Alternative arrangements for payment can be made for weekend collections by appointment

• proof of animal ownership and photo identification is required. Only the owner of the pet can collect the animal, if you want someone to collect on your behalf, you will need to arrange this with Ranger Services prior to collection 

Once payment has been received, the Ranger will arrange a suitable appointment time for you to collect your animal. When you are collecting your animal please remember to bring a lead or animal carrier with you.

Impounded animals can not be released by the Ranger without full payment of fees.  We cannot offer discounts or payment plan arrangements.

Rehoming

The City does not rehome direct from the pound. All unclaimed animals fit for adoption are given to animal rescue and rehoming organisations.

If you want to rescue/re-home an animal please contact an organisation in your area to discuss adoption.
