Nominations Open 1 September 2025 and Close 31 October 2025.

Community Citizen of the Year Awards 2025

There are 4 categories and criteria for nomination can be downloaded at: https://www.citizenshipawards.com.au/criteria.
  • Community Citizen of the Year
  • Young Community Citizen of the Year (16 – 30 years of age)
  • Senior Community Citizen of the Year (over 65 years of age)
  • Active Citizenship – group or event
As you are aware there are a large number of people that make considerable contributions to our community and these Awards provide the perfect opportunity to acknowledge them. We encourage nominations for those who have made an outstanding contribution to the wider community. The Awards will be presented on Australia Day 2026.
