The City of Armadale CPTED pilot project is designed to reduce the opportunities of crime and to improvement in the quality of life in the entire City. The four main principles of CPTED are Natural surveillance, Access control, Territorial reinforcement and Space management. You can email info@armadale.wa.gov.au to request an appointment for a free safety audit of your property.

Security Incentive Scheme

Security Incentive Scheme has now closed for the 2024/2025 Round as funds have been exhausted. The City of Armadale's Security Incentive Scheme offers rebates to help residents improve the level of security within their home by installing security devices. Rebates up to the value of $200 (or $250 for approved concession card holders) are available for the following home security devices:

Residents are only eligible for a rebate every five years. Please note that as this scheme has a limited budget, the City provides no guarantee that a security rebate can be provided to all applicants if the allocated budget is fully expended prior to the end of the financial year.

WA Seniors Card Member - State Government Safety and Security Rebate

If you are a WA Seniors Card member, you can apply to receive the Safety and Security Rebate which allows a claim of up to $400 per household towards the purchase of eligible home security or safety item. For Terms and Conditions and information about each eligible item please visit the Government of Western Australia website here.
