Here is a snapshot of the public toilets located in Parks and Playgrounds

A number of public toilets are located within parks and playgrounds that are managed and maintained by the City.

These toilets are typically open from 6am to 7pm during the Summer (October to April) and Winter hours ( May - September) are 6am to 6pm. Due to security concerns, many of the City's public toilets are locked overnight.

*Shipwreck park is a fully accessible changing place toilet.

If you notice any of these facilities require attention, please contact the City on 9394 5000 or email info@armadale.wa.gov.au

The National Public Toilet Map lists all publicly accessible toilets within the City of Armadale.

Building New Toilets

It is important that Council builds toilets in locations where they are most needed. It costs around $24,000 a year to operate a public toilet facility, including cleaning, maintenance, and asset management costs – regardless of how many people use them.

Not every park has a toilet. Public toilets are usually located in parks that encourage longer stays with facilities and activities.

Therefore, while having a toilet in your local neighbourhood park would be convenient, the parks amenities mean you’re only going to be there for a short time, and you could more than likely wait till you return home.

City of Armadale Logo

The City of Armadale acknowledge the Traditional Owners and the Custodians of the land upon which we stand, work and play.

We acknowledge Aboriginal people as the First Peoples of this land and their connection to the lands and the waters, as they are part of them spiritually and culturally.

We acknowledge their ancestors, the Elders past and present, who have led the way for us to follow.
