The Every Woman Triathlon returns to Champion Lakes on Sunday 9 March 2025, where every pace, every age (7+) and every body type is welcome.

Hosted by Triathlon WA and sponsored by the City of Armadale, this is the fifth year of the event, held at the world class Champion Lakes Regatta Centre.

The event aims to engage women and girls, and the Kids Triathlon and Fun Run Races are for all genders.

Mayor Ruth Butterfield said: “The City is excited to welcome Triathlon WA and Every Woman Triathlon back to Champion Lakes, and support their mission to encourage greater female participation in sport.

“We look forward to seeing new and returning visitors to the City, and encourage everyone to wear something pink to support those who are challenging themselves after suffering serious health conditions.”

Triathlon WA Executive Director Mel Farley said: “Women’s sport is experiencing a phenomenal rise, and events like Every Woman Triathlon play a crucial role in ensuring this momentum continues. It’s inspiring to see women of all ages and backgrounds coming together to challenge themselves and support one another.

“Having dedicated women's triathlon events on the calendar is about creating a space where women feel empowered, included, and celebrated. Triathlon WA is thrilled to be providing this opportunity for Perth women again in 2025.”

The Kids Triathlon (100m swim, 3km bike, 500m run) is perfect for boys and girls aged 7-15 years. It’s a safe, exciting way for kids to try triathlon and feel the joy of crossing the finish line.

Older kids and adults can challenge themselves with the Mini (100m swim, 6.5km bike, 1km run), Enticer (250m swim, 11.5km bike, 2km run), or Long Triathlon (750m swim, 21.5km bike, 5km run) distances.

Not a fan of swimming? Try the 5km Fun Run or Duathlon (2km run, 11.5km bike, 2km run) instead.

Spectators can enjoy a front row seat to the action, plus food trucks, free face painting, and a roaming photo booth.

Hosted by Triathlon WA and proudly supported by the City of Armadale, Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries, Healthway, and Fuel to Go & Play, Every Woman Triathlon is a fun-filled day of sport for everyone.
