The City of Armadale acknowledge the Traditional Owners and the Custodians of the land upon which we stand, work and play.

We acknowledge Aboriginal people as the First Peoples of this land and their connection to the lands and the waters, as they are part of them spiritually and culturally.

We acknowledge their ancestors, the Elders past and present, who have led the way for us to follow.

How to report illegal off-road vehicle activities and ride

Where can I ride an off-road vehicle

There are no permitted public areas designated for off-road vehicle use (four-wheel-drives, trail bikes and quad bikes) in the City of Armadale.

Off-road trail bikes, motorbikes and vehicles can only be used on private land where there isn't an issue with local health laws, such as noise or dust. You must also make sure you have the owner's or occupier's consent.

For more information on where you can safely ride an off-road vehicle, please view the Recreational Trailbike Riders' Association of WA (RTRA) website.

Report nuisance off-road vehicle

If you see or know of a person riding illegally:

  • On the roadway, please call the police on 131444

  • On a City reserve, please call Rangers on 9394 5000 (business hours) or 1300 886 885 (after hours).

Rangers can only investigate illegal off-road vehicle on the City’s reserve or those properties which are vested in the City.

Rangers cannot give chase to an off-road vehicle and rely on community support in locating an address where the rider is coming from.
