The City of Armadale invests in the renewal and development of parks, playgrounds, sporting facilities and natural areas through its annual Capital Works Program.
Projects are prioritised using the City's long-term planning strategies, including the Parks Facility Strategy, Dry Park Strategy and Renewal Program. This ensures park improvements are delivered fairly, sustainably and where they are needed most.

Project status and construction timeframes are subject to change due to weather, contractor availability and other unforeseen circumstances.
What to Expect During Construction
To ensure the safety of our community and contractors, some areas of a park may be temporarily closed while works are underway.
When visiting parks during construction, please:
Follow all temporary signage and safety barriers.
Keep children and pets away from construction areas.
Use open areas of the park where possible.
Consider visiting another nearby park while major works are taking place.
Residents directly affected by construction activities will receive written notification before works commence where appropriate.
How we plan our parks
The City's Parks Facility Strategy provides a planned and equitable approach to developing parks across the municipality. It helps determine the level of facilities provided at Local, Neighbourhood and District Parks, ensuring each community has access to quality public open space.

All playground equipment is inspected and maintained in accordance with Australian Standards to help ensure it remains safe for public use.
