Retail (Commercial) Centres Strategy 2020

Adopted by Council 14 December 2020.

The Retail (Commercial) Centres’ Strategy 2020 builds on and updates the previous Activity Centre Strategy Working Paper 2012. It uses the latest population forecasts for the City as a whole and each suburb as a basis for its modelling of the optimum retail floorspace for each existing and proposed activity/shopping centre in the City of Armadale. Any proposal involving development or expansion of a shopping centre or other activity/commercial centre within the City of Armadale must be consistent with the requirements of this strategy.
