The City of Armadale is committed to supporting our residents to lead healthy active lifestyles and we want to make it easier for you to carry on this message into your community.

The City's Blender Bike is available for community organisations, schools and sporting clubs to hire for free. The Blender Bike is a stationary bike with a blender attached, which is used to create pedal powered smoothies. It can be used at activities and events to provide free, healthy smoothies to attendees. The Blender Bike can also be used as a healthy fundraising activity, an alternative to a cake stall or chocolate drive.

To hire the Blender Bike, please complete the Blender Bike Hire Request Form above and return to the City of Armadale by emailing info@armadale.wa.gov.au or providing it in person at the City's Administration building located at 7 Orchard Avenue, Armadale WA 6112.

Once your form has been received, a City Officer will be in contact within ten business days to advise on the progress of your booking.

  • Community clubs (e.g. sporting clubs, volunteer groups etc)

  • Not for profit organisations

  • Local and state government departments (located in the Perth metropolitan region)

  • Education facilities (e.g. schools, OSH clubs, TAFE, early childhood centres, universities etc)

Pending availability, the Blender Bike can be hired outside of the City of Armadale. The Blender Bike is not able to be hired outside the Perth metropolitan region due to the damage that can occur to the bike over long journeys.

The Blender Bike is FREE to hire, however, to confirm your booking, you must fill out the Blender Bike Hire Request Form and await a response from one of our officers.

If your organisation is located within the City of Armadale, we will endeavour to deliver the Blender Bike and pick it up upon cessation of your event, pending staff availability.

If your organisation is located outside of the City of Armadale, you are required to arrange appropriate transport for the hire of the Blender Bike. A representative of your organisation must be in attendance upon pick up and drop off of the Blender Bike. Couriers, AirTaskers and/or other delivery services are not appropriate transportation for the Blender Bike.

No. The Blender Bike needs to be transported upright in a ute, truck, trailer or van. As a hirer of the Blender Bike, you are required to bring along straps to tie down the bike so it does not get damaged in transit. The Blender Bike does not fit in a hatchback, SUV or 4WD.
