The Free Native Plants initiative run by the City of Armadale offers an array of plants to help the community to create a greener and more sustainable Armadale.
The City of Armadale’s Native Plants for Residents 2025 event was a blooming success, with 12,000 native plants given away at the Champion Centre on May 18th 2025. Residents received free plant packs featuring 10 waterwise species, selected for their suitability to local conditions. Themed packs included the Darling Scarp, Verge, Bushtucker, Pollinator, Frog Pond, and Trees & Shrubs packs.
Proudly delivered in partnership with the Water Corporation’s Waterwise Greening Scheme, the program aims to enhance our urban canopy, support local biodiversity, and create greener, cooler spaces throughout our City.
Keep an eye out for the 2026 event, with details expected to be announced around March/April next year!
