The City provides two green waste collections per calendar year, in addition to access to the Roleystone Greenwaste Facility and the Armadale Landfill and Recycling Facility (conditions apply).
Look up your bin collection day, recycling week and verge collection zone by starting to enter your house number and street name and wait for a drop-down box to appear (requires at least 4 characters), then select your address.
You may also use our Online Mapping application (IntraMaps), which enables you to search for any general property information within the City of Armadale using simple address searches, or by navigating to an area of interest using zoom and pan tools.
Verge collections have begun! 🗑️🌿
We know it’s helpful to have an idea of your verge collection dates, so we’re sharing what’s confirmed so far. While we work closely with our contractors to lock in schedules, we want to make sure we only share dates once they’re confirmed and accurate. As additional dates are locked in they’ll be updated on our website, so it’s worth checking back closer to the time.
📄 Flyers will still be delivered 10 to 14 days leading up to your collection as usual, but we hope this early heads-up helps you prepare in advance.
Green waste can be placed out two days prior to commencement date (i.e. the weekend prior to your start date).
To ensure collection, please place green waste clear of obstacles such as vehicles, trees, water meters, power domes, fences, letterboxes, and reticulation.
Note: Artificial turf is not a permitted verge treatment within the City's verge treatment guidelines. Consequently, the City and its contractors are not responsible for damage that may occur to artificial turf during green waste verge collections.

If you are sharing a verge with a neighbour, notify the City before your collection starts.
Place waste on the verge one metre (1m) back from the kerb, taking care not to obstruct footpaths, bus shelters, line of sight or create a safety hazard.
Place items clear of vehicles, trees, water meters, fences, letterboxes, reticulation and sprinklers to allow collection without causing damage.
Make sure there is no more than 4.5 cubic metres of green waste. It must be loose and not secured with ties of any kind.
Excess waste will not be collected (waste over the size limit or volume limit).
Green waste can be placed out two days prior, or the weekend prior to your start date.
