Grab a bargain at the Drop N Shop
The Drop 'n' Shop Reuse centre is located at platform 1 of Armadale Landfill and Recycling Facility, 145 Hopkinson Road, Hilbert (entry from roundabout at Gloaming Way). Go to the Weighbridge for entry to the Facility.
Please note: Our sites may close as required in the interest of the health and safety of customers and staff (eg. high temp, fire bans, strong winds, staff improvement days). Please check the website for alerts or the City’s Facebook page for notifications of early closures.
Take items that can still be used to the Drop ‘n’ Shop. * Please note: minimum fees apply to all materials coming into the landfill facility - If items are deemed unsuitable for resale, this fee covers the disposal costs and associated landfill levy payable to the state government. *
Repurposing and reusing household items and surplus materials diverts them from landfill, conserves raw materials and saves energy compared to producing new products. Providing items with a second life also prevents them from ending up in landfill.
All items are sold 'as is' and may not be fit for their original purpose. With a bit of creativity, they can become part of something new and innovative. A wide range of items are accepted and sold at the reuse centre.
