We're fortunate to have such rich flora and fauna diversity. Let's work together to conserve it for future generations.
In the City of Armadale, we’re fortunate to have such rich flora and fauna diversity. It’s up to all of us to take charge of our environmental impact and preserve our scenic hills and landmarks like Araluen Botanic Park, Churchman Brook and more.
There are simple things we can all do.
If you have loaded your trailer or ute ready to take waste to one of the City's Drop-Off facilities, remember to secure your load to prevent litter. Littering is illegal and can lead to fines or even court action.
Ensure that your bin lids are closed when putting your bins out for collection. This will reduce incidental litter.
The City of Armadale also supports environmental awareness days like Clean Up Australia Day, World Environment Day, Plastic Free July and Keep Australia Beautiful Week, where everyone can pitch in to make a difference. Visit www.armadale.wa.gov.au/whats-events-workshops to find out more about upcoming events.
The City of Armadale acknowledge the Traditional Owners and the Custodians of the land upon which we stand, work and play.
We acknowledge Aboriginal people as the First Peoples of this land and their connection to the lands and the waters, as they are part of them spiritually and culturally.
We acknowledge their ancestors, the Elders past and present, who have led the way for us to follow.
