Armadale Writers' Award

The Armadale Writers’ Award is an annual creative writing competition for adult writers living in Western Australia. Entries must be original, unpublished prose between 1,000 and 3,000 words long.

The competition accepts online submissions only, and is open from 1 to 30 September each year. Entries will be judged on originality, plot development, story structure, and overall quality of writing.
