By applying appropriate levels of resources and ‘best practice’ management, the City will endeavour to develop streetscapes and parks that provide attractive and healthy places

Street Trees

The City of Armadale is committed to the preservation of trees and consider them one of our most important assets.

Trees are an integral part of the City’s urban landscape contributing significantly to the landscape character and our local sense of place, and Council has approved significant budget allocations towards forward planning, planting and ongoing maintenance of street trees within the City.

The City considers some inconvenience arising from street trees as a necessary consequence of living in an urban environment where trees deliver significant community benefit.

Benefits of Trees

The City's arboriculture team conduct inspections of diseased, pest affected or unhealthy trees and address health concerns in relation to trees located on verges, in parks, reserves and road medians.

If you are concerned about the health of a street tree, please contact Customer Service on 9394 5000 or info@armadale.wa.gov.au
