EV Charging Facilities

The City of Armadale is now electric vehicle ready, with five EV charging stations installed and operational in the City admin centre and the Armadale Fitness and Aquatic Centre (AFAC).

The City's EV charging bays

The City is excited to announce the installation of electric vehicle (EV) chargers at Armadale Fitness and Aquatic Centre and our City offices at 145 Jull Street. The installation of the EV chargers supports the City’s commitment to sustainability, as captured in the Corporate Greenhouse Action Plan 2020/21 to 2029/30. It also aligns with the State and Federal Government's goal of achieving net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050. This initiative was made possible through a collective local government application by the WA Local Government Association (WALGA) as part of the ARENA Future Fuels Grants Program.
