From 1 July 2024, e-waste is banned from entering landfill
Did you know that only one quarter of e-waste in WA is recycled?
E-waste can contain precious metals, such as gold, copper and nickel, which could be recovered and recycled.
E-waste can also contain hazardous materials and should be collected and recycled correctly to prevent harm to the environment and human health.
It’s our responsibility to manage our waste and recycle valuable resources. From 1 July 2024 e-waste is banned from entering landfill.
To find out how and where to dispose of your e-waste such as TVs, mobile phones, and other household appliances visit www.armadale.wa.gov.au/e-waste-disposal
