Dumping rubbish where it doesn't belong is illegal.
In the City of Armadale, dumping rubbish where it doesn't belong is illegal. We provide a range of free services to our residents so there’s no need to illegally dump your mattresses and big stuff like fridges and furniture. Residents can schedule a free collection of up to 2 mattresses annually and we’ll even recycle up to 75% of mattress components. Simply head to Booked mattress collection to book online.
We also offer free bulk verge collections for items like white goods, metal, and large furniture as well as green waste, like tree branches and lawn clippings. Any items that are not collected can be dropped off at the Armadale Landfill and Recycling Facility. Look up your verge collection zone online at Bulk waste verge collection or refer to the annual Waste and Recycling Guide, delivered in December each year.
Don’t let our streets, parks, vacant land, bushland and reserves become illegal landfill.
If you suspect someone is doing the wrong thing and dumping waste where they shouldn’t, let us know on (08) 9394 5000 or by emailing info@armadale.wa.gov.au. Reports will be investigated and can result in an infringement or court prosecution.
The City of Armadale acknowledge the Traditional Owners and the Custodians of the land upon which we stand, work and play.
We acknowledge Aboriginal people as the First Peoples of this land and their connection to the lands and the waters, as they are part of them spiritually and culturally.
We acknowledge their ancestors, the Elders past and present, who have led the way for us to follow.
